what is a tech pack?
In short, your Tech Pack is the blueprint for your design… It’s the A-to-Z ‘bible’ containing all the detailed information needed to from design concept, into sample development, then production and ultimately shipping the garment (or product).
Why do I need one?
Tech Packs are THE central source of information for everyone involved in the process of making your design idea come to life and get to customers. But one key reason (that is often missed) why you should be diligent on ensuring its accuracy, is that it when things go wrong (and they often do), it’s the document you’ll refer back to when negotiating responsibility for financial losses.
